Director of Project Management / Office Lead – Central Region

Our client is a newly launched Owner’s Representative firm with ambitious plans to scale across North America.

Founded by a highly regarded construction leader with a strong track record across major national programmes, the business has already secured significant work with a global technology client and has a growing pipeline across luxury retail, hospitality, entertainment and complex programme delivery.

This is an early-stage business with serious momentum. The successful candidate will join at a key point in the company’s growth, with the opportunity to shape a regional office, build a team and play a leading role in the firm’s long-term expansion.

About the Role

The business is looking to appoint a Director of Project Management / Office Lead for the Central U.S region.

This person will initially lead the delivery of high-profile projects for a major global client, while also helping establish and grow the company’s presence across the region.

The role will suit someone who can operate at both a strategic and delivery level managing client relationships, overseeing project execution, identifying growth opportunities and building the foundations of a regional team.

The position will be remote-first initially, with occasional attendance at the client’s office as required.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading project management delivery across the Central region.
  • Acting as a senior client-facing representative for major programme work.
  • Overseeing project performance, reporting, risk, budget and schedule.
  • Supporting the growth of the regional office and future team.
  • Building strong relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and internal stakeholders.
  • Helping shape processes, standards and best practice for a growing Owner’s Rep platform.
  • Identifying opportunities to expand the company’s regional presence.


About the Person

The successful candidate will be a project management leader with experience delivering complex construction projects or programmes.

They will be confident operating in a client-facing leadership role and comfortable joining a growing business where they can influence strategy, culture and regional growth.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience in an Owner’s Rep, consultancy, project management or general contractor environment
  • A strong background in construction project delivery
  • Proven ability to lead projects, programmes and client relationships
  • Experience operating at Director, Senior Director, Project Executive or equivalent level.
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of budget, schedule and risk.
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of a region.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and interest in helping build a business.
  • Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder management skills.

Highlights:

Location: Dallas, Austin or San Antonio
Salary: circa $200k base + bonus + benefits
Working pattern: Remote-first, with occasional client office presence.
