Senior Cost Manager – Relocation Opportunity (UK & Australia to USA)

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Salary: $125,000 to $150,000 + Bonus

The business has built a strong reputation in the data centre and mission-critical sector, delivering independent cost management and project delivery services to Fortune 500 and hyperscale clients.

The Role

As a Senior Cost Manager, you will take a lead role on large-scale data centre developments, providing cost management expertise throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with clients, contractors, and project teams, you will help deliver complex, high-value projects while being based in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services on major construction projects.
• Prepare cost estimates, cost plans, tender documentation, and contract documents.
• Manage cost reporting, change control, variations, and final accounts.
• Chair cost meetings and act as a key client and contractor contact.
• Support project teams during construction and oversee monthly cost assessments.
• Mentor junior team members and contribute to project delivery excellence.
• Produce and present reports to clients and senior stakeholders.

Requirements

• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• 6+ years' cost management experience on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects.
• Strong pre- and post-contract knowledge.
• Experience leading projects and managing stakeholder relationships.
• Eligibility to work in the US, or qualify for an E-2/E-3 visa.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
