The Role – Senior Cost Manager

Based in Las Vegas, this role will see you leading cost management delivery across a portfolio of landmark casino, resort, hospitality, and entertainment developments throughout Nevada and the wider Southwest region.

You will take ownership of major client relationships, manage complex projects from inception through completion, mentor junior team members, and play a key role in both pre-contract and post-contract cost management services.

Projects include:

• Integrated casino resorts
• Luxury hotels and hospitality developments
• Entertainment venues and theatres
• Mixed-use gaming and leisure destinations
• High-end food & beverage developments
• Large-scale renovation and expansion projects

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services on large-scale casino, hospitality, and entertainment projects
• Prepare and review detailed cost plans, estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies
• Manage procurement strategies, tender processes, and contractor negotiations
• Oversee post-contract services including valuations, change management, cost reporting, and final accounts
• Provide strategic commercial advice and financial reporting to clients and stakeholders
• Drive value engineering initiatives, benchmarking exercises, and risk mitigation strategies
• Act as the primary client-facing representative on major projects
• Support business development activities and help expand relationships within the gaming and hospitality sector
• Mentor and develop junior cost management professionals

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
• 7+ years of cost management, quantity surveying, or construction cost consulting experience
• Experience delivering hospitality, gaming, resort, hotel, entertainment, or large-scale commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of both pre-contract and post-contract cost management services
• Excellent client-facing, communication, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to lead multiple projects and manage complex commercial challenges
• Existing right to work in the United States – E2 or E3, Green Card, or American Citizenship
