The Role – Senior Cost Manager (Data Centers)

Based in Salt Lake City, this is a unique opportunity to take a lead role on a large-scale, high-profile data center project for one of the world’s most innovative and recognizable companies. You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders and play a critical part in ensuring the successful financial delivery of a complex mission-critical facility.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cost management services across a major data center project.

• Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.

• Oversee tender processes, including bid documentation, evaluations, and negotiations with contractors.

• Manage post-contract services, including valuations, change orders, risk management, and final accounts.

• Provide clear and strategic financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.

• Drive value engineering and benchmarking exercises to optimize project outcomes.

• Act as a senior client representative, building and maintaining strong relationships with high-profile organizations.

• Mentor and support junior cost managers and assistant cost managers.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field.

• 6+ years of experience in cost management, including significant exposure to mission-critical or commercial projects.

• Proven track record delivering both pre- and post-contract services.

• Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

• Must have U.S. work authorization (Green Card, U.S. citizen, or transferable E2/E3 visa).
