The Role - Senior Cost Manager
Based in San Francisco or Los Angeles, this is a unique opportunity to take a lead role on high-profile real estate projects for some of the world’s most innovative and recognizable companies. The portfolio is diverse, spanning large-scale tech campuses and headquarters, retail spaces, hotels, hospitality developments, and even exciting creative studio projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead cost management services across large, complex real estate projects.

  • Prepare and review detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans.

  • Oversee tender processes, including bid documentation, evaluations, and negotiations with contractors.

  • Manage post-contract services, including valuations, change orders, risk management, and final accounts.

  • Provide clear and strategic financial reporting to clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Drive value engineering and benchmarking exercises to optimize project outcomes.

  • Act as a senior client representative, building and maintaining strong relationships with high-profile organizations.

  • Mentor and support junior cost managers and assistant cost managers.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction, or a related field.

  • 6+ years of experience in cost management, including significant exposure to real estate or commercial projects.

  • Proven track record delivering both pre- and post-contract services.

  • Strong stakeholder management and leadership skills.

  • U.S. citizenship, existing right to work in the U.S., or eligibility for an E2/E3 visa.
