The Role
You’ll be responsible for both delivery and direction:
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing cost management team
- Oversee strategic cost planning, estimating, and controls across major tech-driven projects
- Strengthen relationships with architects, engineers, contractors, and C-suite client stakeholders
- Drive innovation in systems, reporting, and commercial strategy
- Play a key role in scaling the business nationally
This is equal parts technical authority, team builder, and growth driver.
What They’re Looking For
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or similar (Master’s a plus)
- Proven leadership experience at Director or Associate Director level within a cost consultancy or owner-side environment
- Strong commercial acumen, you understand margin, risk, and client positioning
- Deep expertise in CostX and modern cost management platforms
- Confident communicator who can operate comfortably at board level
