Cost Manager | Construction Consultancy (Chicago)
Salary: $100,000 - $125,000 + Quarterly Bonus
A growing, partner-led construction consultancy is expanding its Chicago Cost Management presence and is looking to hire a Cost Manager to support a busy and expanding project workload.
This role offers exposure to high-quality commercial projects, close collaboration with senior leadership, and a clear pathway to Senior Cost Manager as the team continues to grow.
The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Pre- and post-contract cost management support
- Cost planning, estimating, budgeting, and reporting
- Change management and value engineering
- Client-facing delivery with senior oversight
- Supporting senior cost managers on complex projects
What They’re Looking For
- 3-6+ years’ experience in cost management / quantity surveying
- Consultancy, owner’s rep, or GC cost management background
- Strong commercial fundamentals and client-facing ability
- Open to UK, Australian, or US-trained QS profiles
- Candidates already in the US or open to relocation (visa support available)
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: $100,000 - $125,000
- Quarterly bonus: typically, 10-15%, with upside for strong performers
