A globally respected construction consultancy is expanding its New York team and is seeking a Cost Manager with 3-5 years of experience to support major development and construction projects across the city.

The firm works with leading developers, investors, and institutional clients on high-value projects across sectors including commercial, residential, mixed-use, and institutional developments. The Role | Cost Manager

As a Cost Manager, you will play a key role in managing project financials from early feasibility through to completion. You will work closely with clients, design teams, and contractors to ensure projects are delivered within budget while maintaining high standards of cost control and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost plans and project estimates
• Manage project budgets and financial reporting
• Support procurement and tendering processes
• Conduct bid evaluations and contractor negotiations
• Monitor costs throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify and manage cost risks and opportunities
• Provide change management and variation assessments
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and contractors

Minimum Qualifications

• 3-5 years’ experience in cost management or quantity surveying
• Experience within a construction consultancy or professional services firm
• Strong knowledge of construction cost planning and procurement
• Experience supporting commercial, residential, or mixed-use projects
• Excellent analytical and communication skills

Work Authorization
