What They’re Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in cost engineering, estimating, or project controls within construction (GC or CM experience preferred)
• Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and cost drivers
• Proficiency with cost management tools (e.g., Procore, CMIC, Excel)
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Passion for building and delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage detailed project cost estimates, budgets, and forecasts
• Monitor project expenditures and report on variances against baseline budgets
• Work closely with project managers, estimators, and procurement teams to track costs
• Analyze subcontractor quotes and vendor proposals for accuracy and value
• Participate in value engineering and risk management efforts
• Support monthly cost reporting and cash flow projections
• Ensure compliance with financial and contract requirements
