The Role - Cost Manager
Based in San Francisco, this is an excellent opportunity to work across a diverse portfolio of high profile real estate projects for some of the world’s most recognisable and innovative organisations. Projects range from technology campuses and corporate headquarters to retail developments, hotels, hospitality environments, and creative studio facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver cost management services across large scale and complex real estate developments.
Prepare detailed cost estimates, budgets, and cost plans at all stages of design and delivery.
Manage tender processes, including preparation of documentation and contractor negotiations.
Provide post contract services including valuations, change management, and agreement of final accounts.
Produce clear and accurate financial reporting to ensure transparency and confidence in project delivery.
Support clients with benchmarking, value engineering, and risk analysis to aid decision making.
Act as a key client facing representative, building and maintaining long term trusted relationships.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
3–6 years of experience in cost management, ideally with exposure to commercial or real estate projects.
Strong understanding of both pre contract and post contract phases.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
U.S. citizenship or existing right to work in the United States, or eligibility for an E2 or E3 visa.
