Senior Estimator – Commercial Interiors / Construction
Location: Los Angeles, CA or San Francisco, CA (US-based or willing to relocate)
We’re working with a leading international construction consultancy seeking a Senior Estimator to join their US team. This is a high-profile role with exposure to exciting commercial and mixed-use projects across the country.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the preparation of accurate, competitive cost estimates for commercial construction projects.
- Review tender documents, drawings, and specifications to identify risks, opportunities, and cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with design teams, clients, and subcontractors to refine project budgets.
- Mentor junior estimators and contribute to the growth of the US estimating team.
- Support business development initiatives with pricing input and feasibility assessments.
Who you are:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in commercial estimating, ideally in interiors, retail, office, or mixed-use projects.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and costs.
- Exceptional analytical and numerical skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Proven track record of leading estimates from concept through tender.
- Excellent communication and client-facing skills.
- Based in the US or willing to relocate (if relocating, must hold a British or Australian passport).
