This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cost Manager to join a fast-growing consultancy with clear progression pathways. You’ll take ownership of cost management responsibilities across a variety of high-profile projects, providing expert advice and ensuring successful delivery from inception to close out.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents.
Lead cost reporting and financial management across projects, ensuring robust tracking of budgets, forecasts, and cashflow.
Administer and chair cost meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of documentation.
Manage contractor cost submissions, variations, and change orders.
Utilize the company’s cost management platform to monitor and report project financials.
Partner with Project Managers during construction to review schedules, provisional sums, and CDP packages.
Oversee monthly assessments, valuations, and preparation of final accounts.
Produce detailed monthly reports and ensure accurate financial tracking of all projects.
Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
4–8 years’ experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
Proven experience across both pre- and post-contract phases.
Strong knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
U.S. citizenship, existing/transferable right to work in the U.S., or eligibility for an E2 or E3 visa.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and cost management software.
