Senior Cost Manager
Milwaukee, Wisconsin
$120,000 – $150,000 + Package

We’re representing a fast-growing Cost Consultancy that has rapidly expanded across the U.S., backed by a strong track record of delivering high-value projects for top-tier clients. With headquarters in New York and a growing national presence, this firm has built its reputation by partnering with leading blue-chip organizations, particularly in the high-tech and mission-critical sectors.

As they continue to build momentum, the team is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join their Milwaukee office. This role is a unique opportunity to take the lead on major data center projects, working very closely with the client and driving delivery from pre-construction through to project close-out. You’ll be the primary point of contact on-site, managing expectations, driving reporting, and overseeing project financials in a high-performance environment.

This is not just another cost management role, this is a chance to shape the delivery of highly technical builds while positioning yourself for accelerated career growth in a company that is scaling nationally.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cost management delivery of large-scale data center projects, serving as the client’s key commercial advisor.
  • Oversee project execution including Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract documentation.
  • Direct and manage the preparation and delivery of monthly cost reports and change control processes.
  • Actively lead cost meetings, liaising closely with general contractors and the client.
  • Ensure transparent, proactive communication between stakeholders, including real-time reporting of project financials and risk.
  • Support project controls during construction by evaluating schedules, assessing CDP allocations, and contributing to accurate forecasting.
  • Assist with the preparation and finalization of accounts, including dispute resolution as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of cost management experience.
  • Strong client-facing skills with the ability to build trusted partnerships and manage expectations at a senior level.
  • Proficient in both pre- and post-contract services with a deep understanding of project delivery and change control.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office and familiarity with cost management platforms/tools.
  • US citizenship, Green Card, or eligibility for a transferable E-2/E-3 visa.

If you’re looking to play a central role on a high-profile data center project, while being part of a consultancy that values innovation, performance, and personal growth, this could be your next move.
