Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager (SPM) to lead the management and execution of large-scale construction projects. The ideal candidate has a strong foundation in project delivery and a solid understanding of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) systems, with proven ability to manage cross-functional teams and interface directly with clients, consultants, and contractors.

As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project performance, including scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk, while ensuring alignment with client objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the planning, design, and construction phases of multiple capital projects simultaneously.
• Serve as the primary client contact and trusted advisor throughout the project lifecycle.
• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, cash flows, and reporting in alignment with client goals.
• Oversee procurement, contract negotiation, and administration of consultants, contractors, and vendors.
• Coordinate and lead design and construction team meetings, including resolving issues in real time.
• Manage and track submittals, RFIs, change orders, punch lists, and closeout activities.
• Provide strategic guidance and quality assurance for all project documentation and deliverables.
• Monitor jobsite progress and perform regular site visits to assess conformance to design documents and safety protocols.
• Provide subject matter expertise and guidance in evaluating MEP systems, coordination, commissioning, and system integration.
• Identify and mitigate project risks proactively and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Mentor junior staff and contribute to the professional growth of team members.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
• 8+ years of project management experience in construction or owner’s representation roles.
• Strong technical knowledge of MEP systems is required; experience in MEP coordination, value engineering, or commissioning is highly preferred.
• Proven track record managing mid- to large-scale commercial or institutional projects (budgets ranging from $10M–$100M+).
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Procore, MS Project, Bluebeam, Excel).
• Experience with regulatory approvals, permitting processes, and code compliance.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with competing interests and align them toward shared goals.
