As part of their continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager with deep healthcare expertise to lead complex capital projects from pre-construction through closeout.

Position Summary:

The Project Manager will serve as a trusted advisor and lead representative for healthcare clients, overseeing the successful execution of construction and renovation projects in hospitals, ambulatory care centers, and medical office buildings. This individual will manage all phases of project delivery, ensuring quality, schedule, budget, and regulatory compliance goals are met. This role is ideal for a mid-senior or director-level candidate looking to make a meaningful impact in the healthcare built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the client, design team, contractors, and consultants.
  • Lead project planning, design coordination, procurement, construction administration, and closeout.
  • Oversee multiple concurrent projects ranging from $5M to $200M+ in total development costs.
  • Ensure compliance with healthcare-specific codes, including DPH, FGI Guidelines, and Joint Commission requirements.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, budget, and risk; proactively resolve issues to minimize disruption.
  • Provide strategic advice during feasibility, programming, and capital planning phases.
  • Facilitate permitting, bidding, and contract negotiations.
  • Report regularly to executive stakeholders with clear communication and thorough documentation.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to firm leadership and best practices.

Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in construction project management, with a minimum of 5+ years in healthcare-specific projects.
  • Prior experience working in an Owner’s Rep, Construction Management, or Real Estate Development capacity strongly preferred.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare infrastructure, hospital operational standards, and regulatory compliance.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex stakeholder groups in active clinical environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field required; Master’s or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CHC, CCM) a plus.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
  • Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project, Procore, Bluebeam, and others.
