Project manager | Owner’s rep – New York

A growing boutique owner’s representative consultancy is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join its New York team.

This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality commercial projects, work directly with clients and join the business at an early stage of growth. The role offers excellent exposure, responsibility and long-term progression.

The Role

• Manage commercial interior and tenant improvement projects from pre-construction through to closeout.
• Support senior leadership while taking ownership of day-to-day project delivery.
• Act as a key client contact, providing clear reporting and project updates.
• Manage budgets, schedules, procurement, risk, change control and project performance.
• Coordinate architects, engineers, contractors, vendors, landlords and client stakeholders.
• Support tendering, contractor appointments, negotiations and contract administration.
• Identify potential issues and develop practical solutions to keep projects progressing.

Project Portfolio

Projects include super-prime fit-outs within landmark New York buildings, financial services and banking workplaces, corporate headquarters, landlord-direct projects, commercial-to-residential conversions and full-building renovations.

About You

• Experience delivering commercial projects through the full lifecycle.
• Strong commercial fit-out or tenant improvement experience within New York.
• An owner’s representative or project management consultancy background is preferred, although relevant developer or contractor experience may be considered.
• Confident managing budgets, schedules, procurement, contracts and risk.
• Strong client-facing, communication and stakeholder-management skills.
• Proactive, adaptable and comfortable working within a growing business.
• Ambitious and keen to progress as the team expands.
