Associate Director - Cost Management | Data Centers

Location: Portsmouth, Ohio
Salary: $160,000-175,000 + Bonus + Per Diem + Relocation Support

We are working with a leading international construction consultancy that is looking to appoint an Associate Director of Cost Management to take a senior role on one of the largest data center developments undertaken to date.

This is a significant opportunity to join a major data center programme in Portsmouth, Ohio, taking responsibility for commercial delivery, client relationships and the management of a growing Cost Management team.

Our client is experiencing continued growth across the US, with a substantial pipeline of data center projects and opportunities for further leadership progression.

The Role

• Leading Cost Management delivery across major packages and workstreams on a large-scale data center campus.

• Overseeing project budgets, cost reporting, forecasting and commercial performance.

• Providing strategic commercial advice to senior client stakeholders.

• Managing procurement strategies, contract administration and change management.

• Leading and developing a team of Cost Managers and Senior Cost Managers.

• Identifying and managing commercial risks across the programme.

• Building strong relationships with the client, contractors and wider project teams.

• Supporting the continued growth of the consultancy's Cost Management offering.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

• Proven experience delivering large-scale construction or capital investment projects.

• Strong leadership capabilities and experience managing commercial teams.

• Excellent client-facing, commercial and contractual skills.

• Background in construction consultancy or major project delivery.

• Data center, mission critical or major industrial project experience would be highly advantageous.
