Salary: $130,000-150,000 + Bonus + Relocation Package 

 

We are partnering with a leading US Cost Consultancy delivering one of the most exciting life sciences and pharmaceutical developments currently underway in California.

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor / Senior Cost Manager to relocate to San Francisco and support the delivery of a major pharmaceutical campus project consisting of cutting-edge office buildings, laboratories, research facilities, and associated infrastructure.

The Role

You will play a key commercial leadership role across a complex multi-phase campus development, providing full cost management services from pre-construction through to project completion.

Responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing detailed cost plans and budgets
  • Managing procurement, tendering, and contract administration
  • Monitoring project costs, reporting, and forecasting
  • Managing variations and change control processes
  • Supporting stakeholder and client reporting across major workstreams
  • Working closely with Project Managers, Design Teams, and Contractors
  • Assisting with final account negotiations and commercial close-out
  • Supporting the delivery of highly technical office and laboratory environments

 

Requirements

  • Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying
  • Strong pre and post-contract experience
  • Experience delivering large-scale commercial, healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, or complex technical projects
  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work within fast-paced, collaborative project environments
