The Role:

This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Cost Manager to join a fast-growing consultancy with clear progression pathways. You’ll take ownership of cost management responsibilities across a variety of high-profile projects, providing expert advice and ensuring successful delivery from inception to close out.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract Documents.
• Lead cost reporting and financial management across projects, ensuring robust tracking of budgets, forecasts, and cashflow.
• Administer and chair cost meetings, ensuring accuracy and timely distribution of documentation.
• Manage contractor cost submissions, variations, and change orders.
• Utilize the company’s cost management platform to monitor and report project financials.
• Partner with Project Managers during construction to review schedules, provisional sums, and CDP packages.
• Oversee monthly assessments, valuations, and preparation of final accounts.
• Produce detailed monthly reports and ensure accurate financial tracking of all projects.
• Mentor and support junior team members where appropriate.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
• 4–8 years’ experience in construction cost management or quantity surveying.
• Proven experience across both pre- and post-contract phases.
• Strong knowledge of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
• U.S. citizenship, existing/transferable right to work in the U.S., or eligibility for an E2 or E3 visa.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and cost management software.
