The Role  -  Superintendent

Based in New York, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of high end interior construction projects, working with a high performing team on complex and fast paced developments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all daily field operations including site safety, quality control, construction progress, and site housekeeping.
  • Lead and supervise on-site personnel including assistant superintendents, labour teams, and subcontractors.
  • Manage short term scheduling, including two week look-aheads, ensuring alignment with the overall programme.
  • Coordinate all trades to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Understand project strategy, key milestones, logistics, and inspection requirements.
  • Act as the main on-site point of contact, maintaining clear communication with the wider project team.
  • Chair weekly site meetings and manage the RFI process to resolve technical and site related issues.
  • Support project close-out activities, including punch lists and warranty follow-ups.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience working as a Superintendent.
  • Proven track record delivering high end, complex interior projects, ideally within occupied or live environments.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage full project lifecycle independently.
  • OSHA 10-Hour and 4-Hour Supported Scaffold User certifications required.
  • Strong ability to read and interpret commercial construction drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
