Our client is seeking a best-in-class Senior Cost Manager to join their Denver team. This is not just a typical “Cost Manager” role; as this organization is still in its early stages, there is a unique opportunity to be part of its growth trajectory, with the potential for fast progression. You will lead a portfolio of high-profile data center campus projects, and there is a significant opportunity to grow out a team in Denver, positioning yourself as a key player in the company’s regional expansion. This role offers the chance to take on leadership responsibilities early and shape the future of the business in this market.


Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day execution and management of data center projects.
  • Develop Order of Cost Estimates, Cost Plans, Tender Documents, and Contract documents according to established company protocols.
  • Manage administrative duties related to Cost Meetings.
  • Collaborate with Contractors on cost reports, planned versus actual costs, changes, variations, and address any disputes that may arise.
  • Use and maintain the company’s platform to manage and communicate cost-related matters within projects.
  • Work closely with Project Managers during construction to assess provisional sum schedules and CDP schedules, ensuring that updates are accurately documented and shared.
  • Conduct monthly assessments subject to review by senior personnel, contributing to the preparation and settlement of final accounts.
  • Manage change requests with appropriate guidance.
  • Generate and submit monthly reports.
  • Lead a portfolio of high-tech data center projects, ensuring delivery of innovative, cutting-edge solutions.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in construction and/or contract management for complex commercial or data center projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction, engineering, and architecture principles.
  • Proven leadership and management abilities.
  • Pre and Post contract experience.
  • US citizenship
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
