An international construction consultancy is looking to appoint a Cost Manager to join its growing team on a major data center development in Portsmouth, Ohio.
This is one of the largest data center projects undertaken to date, offering the opportunity to work on a significant, long-term programme with a leading client in the mission critical sector.
Our client is continuing to expand its US operations and is keen to speak with Cost Managers who want to take on greater responsibility and develop their careers.
The Role

Managing costs across key packages on a large-scale data center project.

Preparing cost reports, budgets and forecasts.

Managing change orders, valuations and contractor payment applications.

Supporting procurement, tender evaluations and contract administration.

Monitoring project expenditure and identifying commercial risks.

Working closely with project teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
Requirements

Experience in Cost Management, Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

Background in construction consultancy or general contracting.

Experience managing project costs, procurement and change management.

Strong commercial awareness and stakeholder management skills.

Experience in data centers, industrial or major capital projects would be beneficial.
