An established project management and owner’s representation consultancy is seeking an Associate Director  to lead a high-profile hospitality and retail package within one of Chicago’s most iconic redevelopment projects.


This is a rare opportunity to oversee the delivery of a flagship luxury restaurant concept forming part of a major mixed-use transformation valued in excess of $1Bn. The wider development is being delivered alongside globally recognized stakeholders and offers exposure to one of the most visible projects currently underway in the city.


The organization has built a strong reputation for delivering complex commercial, mixed-use, hospitality, and workplace developments across major urban markets. Their team is lean, highly collaborative, and offers significant client exposure and project ownership.


The Role – Associate Director 

The successful candidate will take ownership of a sophisticated hospitality-led interiors package, managing coordination across ownership, design teams, consultants, contractors, and operators.


Responsibilities Include:

  • Leading day-to-day delivery of a luxury restaurant / hospitality project
  • Managing project schedules, budgets, procurement, and reporting
  • Coordinating architects, consultants, contractors, and vendors
  • Overseeing construction execution and design management
  • Managing stakeholder communication and client-facing meetings
  • Driving resolution of field issues and design changes
  • Supporting FF&E coordination and operational integration
  • Managing punch list, closeout, and turnover processes
  • Ensuring quality delivery within a highly visible development environment


Minimum Qualifications

  • 8-15+ years of project management experience
  • Strong hospitality, restaurant, retail, or luxury interiors project experience
  • Experience delivering high-end fit-outs or flagship environments preferred
  • Strong client-facing communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience managing fast-paced, design-led construction projects
  • Consultancy, owner’s rep, developer, or GC backgrounds considered
