A rapidly growing, partner-led construction consultancy is seeking a Senior Cost Manager to join its San Francisco team.
This role is suited to an experienced cost professional ready to take ownership of key projects, lead client relationships, and support junior team members.
The Opportunity
- Lead cost management delivery across complex projects
- Act as a key commercial contact for clients
- Mentor and support junior cost managers
- Join a consultancy in aggressive growth mode following a recent merger
- Work across a diverse sector portfolio including corporate interiors, infrastructure, healthcare, residential, life sciences, industrial, and data centers
- Clear pathway toward Associate Director level
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cost planning, estimating, and reporting across projects
- Manage procurement, tendering, and contract processes
- Monitor budgets, risk, and change management
- Build and manage client relationships
- Support team development and mentoring
What They’re Looking For
- 5-10+ years’ experience in cost management / quantity surveying
- Currently operating at Senior Cost Manager level or equivalent
- Strong client-facing and project leadership experience
- Consultancy, client-side, or GC background
- Multi-sector experience preferred
- Open to UK, Australian, or US-trained QS profiles
Compensation & Benefits
- Base salary: Up to $160,000
- Quarterly bonus
